fordevelopment #stefansolo Crank turns are a rotational method where the initiator adds energy to the already rotating follower. In infinite turn theory this is only needed to speed up a turn. In finite turn theory this is needed to a small degree when doing perpetual turns.
Crank Turns have a negative association as they are often done with Force Lead technique or an inaccurate understanding of the follows rotational axis leading to hard engagement during unequal motion.
Crank turns are useful for Single Axis Turns as otherwise the follower would need to Row to maintain perpetual energy.
note: alt. name: additive turns
